What if your teaching could completely change the educational experience of one young person?

We are looking for an inspirational Health and Social Care Teacher to work on a 1:1 basis with a SEND student, delivering personalised and engaging teaching across a one-year contract.

This is a unique opportunity for a Health and Social Care Teacher who wants to move away from the pressures of a traditional classroom and focus entirely on helping one student progress, develop confidence and achieve their potential.

As a Health and Social Care Teacher, you will have the time and flexibility to truly understand how your student learns and adapt your approach around their individual needs, interests and aspirations.

The Opportunity

You will become an important part of the student's educational journey, delivering 1:1 Health and Social Care sessions in a supportive SEND environment.

The successful Health and Social Care Teacher will:

Deliver engaging and personalised Health & Social Care lessons
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the student's individual SEND needs
Build confidence, independence and self-belief
Support the student to work towards relevant qualifications
Create lessons that connect learning to real-life situations and future aspirations
Celebrate progress and recognise achievements
Build a positive and trusting relationship with the student
Work closely with the wider SEND team

Who We're Looking For

We would love to hear from an experienced Health and Social Care Teacher who is passionate about making a genuine difference.

We are also keen to speak with Health and Social Care Teachers, FE Lecturers and experienced Health & Social Care professionals with teaching experience.

Whether you are an experienced Health and Social Care Teacher with a background in SEND or an outstanding educator looking for a new challenge, your patience, creativity and ability to build relationships will be key.

Most importantly, you will be a Health and Social Care Teacher who believes that every young person deserves the right support, encouragement and opportunity to succeed.
