Salary: £36,000 - £46,000 FTE
A leading independent school in Surrey on the borders of Hampshire is seeking a Health and Social Care Teacher from January 2027. This is a part time and permanent role, 3 mornings a week.
This independent special school is dedicated to supporting children with a range of additional needs. They pride themselves on their nurturing environment, creative curriculum, and highly collaborative approach - ensuring every pupil feels understood, valued, and empowered to reach their potential.
The Head is looking for someone who has experience of working with children / young people with special educational needs (SEN) as well as proven experience teaching Business Studies at KS5. The ability to teach a little Sociology, Psychology and Criminology would be advantageous.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Health & Social Care lessons across Btec Level 1/2/3 (equivalent to GCSE & ALevel
• Plan and assess effectively to ensure progress for all students
• Inspire creativity, confident and independent learning
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and innovative ideas
• Contribute to the school’s wider life and enrichment programmes
The Head is looking for someone who has experience of teaching Health and Social Care and has QTS or equivalent. Experience of working with SEN pupils would be advantageous. You will be committed to supporting learners of all abilities and are passionate about promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment
