SALARY - £70,000 - £90,000 DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Sales & Marketing to join a growing engineering and Electronics manufacturing business. This senior leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, and strengthening the company’s market presence.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead the sales and marketing function, setting clear targets and performance metrics while building and developing a high-performing team. The role will involve identifying new market opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and ensuring the business continues to expand within its core sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver the sales and marketing strategy aligned with overall business objectives
Set and achieve annual sales targets and KPIs in line with the business plan
Lead, mentor, and develop the sales and marketing team to drive performance
Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and growth areas
Oversee brand positioning, marketing campaigns, and messaging consistency
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and external partners
Manage sales and marketing budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and strong ROI
Support the implementation and optimisation of CRM systems and sales processesAbout You

Proven experience in sales and marketing leadership, ideally within engineering, manufacturing, or electronics.
Strong track record of achieving revenue growth and commercial targets
Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive results
Experience working in a CEM (Contract Electronics Manufacturing) or EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) environment.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven leader to play a key role in shaping the future growth of an ambitious engineering business
