Position: Temporary Hairdressing Lecturer
Location: Widnes
Rate of pay: £30 - £35 per hour
Contract: Temporary (until at least Easter)
Eden Brown are seeking a passionate and skilled Hairdressing Lecturer to join a leading further education college in Widnes on a temporary basis.
This is a part time role to start ASAP. Working Days: Thursday 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM & Friday 9:30 AM - 12:15 PM
The successful candidate will provide expert instruction during practical hairdressing sessions for our students, inspiring and guiding them through hands-on techniques and industry-standard practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver practical hairdressing sessions, focusing on a wide range of skills and techniques.
* Ensure students are engaged and supported during practical activities.
* Provide feedback on student progress and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Follow the college's health and safety procedures and maintain professional standards.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Relevant qualifications in Hairdressing (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
* Industry experience in hairdressing, with an up-to-date knowledge of trends and techniques.
* Experience teaching or a passion for sharing knowledge with students.
* A positive, professional, and motivating approach to teaching.
A DBS check will be required.
