Our client is looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Transport Planner to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential, commercial, education, healthcare, and mixed-use developments, supporting projects from initial feasibility through to planning and delivery.

You'll work alongside experienced transport planners and engineers, gaining hands-on experience while developing the technical and professional skills needed to build a successful career in transport planning.

The Role

As a Graduate Transport Planner, you will:

Assist in preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
Support the production of technical reports and planning documentation.
Analyse traffic and transport data using industry-standard software.
Contribute to junction capacity assessments and traffic modelling.
Assist with site appraisals and transport feasibility studies.
Liaise with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary project teams.
Support senior team members in delivering projects on time and to a high standard.
Develop an understanding of UK transport planning policy and guidance.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Educated to degree level in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, Urban Planning or a related discipline.
Passionate about transport, sustainable travel and infrastructure.
A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
Analytical with good problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable working with data and Microsoft Office applications.
Eager to learn and develop within a collaborative environment.
Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively as part of a team.A full UK driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
