What you will be doing
· You will be supporting the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans for planning applications.
· You will be collecting, analysing, and interpreting transport data using tools such as TRICS, TEMPro, and Excel.
· You will be assisting with junction capacity assessments using software including Junctions 10 (ARCADY/PICADY) and LinSig.
· You will be contributing to the production of technical drawings and plans using GIS or AutoCAD (full training available).
· You will be researching transport policy, local plans, and planning frameworks to inform project work.
· You will be attending site visits and carrying out transport surveys.
· You will be participating in project meetings and supporting client communication alongside senior colleagues.
What you will bring
· You will hold (or be working towards) a degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related discipline.
· You will demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills.
· You will have clear written and verbal communication abilities.
· You will show a genuine interest in sustainable transport and infrastructure planning.
· You will bring a proactive, team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn.

· Salary of £26,000 - £32,000 dependent on experience

Your development and working environment
You will be based in Leeds with hybrid and flexible working options available. As a Graduate Transport Planner, you will be supported in developing your technical and professional skills, gaining experience with key industry tools such as TRICS, TEMPro, Junctions 10, and LinSig. You will also build knowledge of UK planning policy and develop capabilities in GIS and AutoCAD, setting strong foundations for long-term career growth.
