I'm currently recruiting for a Graduate Town Planner opportunity in Lincoln, offering the chance to work alongside experienced planners on a broad range of projects, while developing your professional and personal skills through a dedicated graduate training programme.
Responsibilities
Assist with and prepare planning statements
Assist with the preparation of planning appraisals
Support the team on larger planning projects
Prepare planning applications and appeals
Assist clients throughout the planning process
Appraise new development opportunities
Undertake planning research and analysis
Assist with the preparation of Design and Access Statements where required
Manage a range of planning applications and monitor outcomes
Undertake community engagement
Attend planning committee meetings and public examinations
Attend site visits and client meetings
Assist with the preparation of fee proposals for projectsRequirements
Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline, ideally RTPI accredited
Demonstrated interest in planning
Previous planning experience is desirable but not essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong motivation and ambition to develop a career in planning
Transferable skills are welcomed, with consideration given to candidates who may not meet every listed requirementBenefits
