We are seeking a number of Graduate Teaching Assistants to support in a secondary school setting from September, with full-time roles available and the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

What will you do?

• Work closely with the class teacher to support students aged 11–16 in the classroom
• Deliver targeted small group interventions in your subject specialism (Maths, English, Science, Humanities, etc.)
• Provide 1:1 support where required, including working with students with additional needs
• Support behaviour management and help create a positive, engaging learning environment
• Gain valuable insight into teaching, lesson planning, and classroom practice

What do you need?

• A degree in a STEM or CORE subject (e.g. Maths, Science, English, Humanities)
• A strong interest in pursuing a career in teaching
• Availability to work full-time from September
• A proactive, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young people
• An up-to-date CV covering your education history
• An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
• References covering your most recent experience
