The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

Autism (ASD)
ADHD
SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)
Complex learning difficulties
Physical disabilities and sensory needsYou may support pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small intervention groups, or within the wider classroom, helping them to access learning, develop confidence and achieve their full potential.

We're Looking For Graduates Who Are:

Passionate about supporting children and young people
Patient, empathetic and resilient
Confident building positive relationships
Strong communicators with a proactive attitude
Keen to gain valuable school-based experience before progressing into a long-term career in educationPrevious experience working with children or young people-through schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work, care, mentoring or volunteering-is beneficial but not essential.
