About the Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support students' learning across a range of subjects, working closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted support. You will gain valuable classroom experience while helping students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning in the classroom across various subjects
Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
Assist in lesson preparation and classroom organisation
Provide targeted support for students who need additional help
Help maintain a positive and focused learning environment
Support students with varying abilities, including those with SEN
Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate
Holds a degree (2:2 or above) in any subject
Has a genuine interest in pursuing a career in teaching or education
Is proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
Can build positive relationships with students and staff
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
