Reeson Education is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Waltham Forest. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll be supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, providing classroom support, helping pupils with additional needs, and contributing to engaging, positive learning environments.
Role Details for the Graduate Teaching Assistant:
Pay: £82.14-£100 per day (PAYE)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Across Waltham Forest (including Walthamstow, Leyton, and Chingford)
Contract: Full-time or flexible supply work
Responsibilities of a Graduate Teaching Assistant:
Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across core subjects
Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils requiring additional academic or emotional support
Help pupils with special educational needs (SEN), including autism (ASD), ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
Assist in maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere
Provide feedback to teachers and contribute to pupil progress tracking
Requirements for a Graduate Teaching Assistant:
A degree in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, English, or a related field
A passion for supporting children's learning and development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, proactive, and positive attitude
Previous experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable
