Working Hours: Monday-Friday | 8:00am-4:00pm

About the Position

Working alongside the class teacher, your responsibilities will include:

Providing support during KS1 lessons and classroom activities
Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning
Helping children build their confidence across literacy, numeracy and communication
Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom resources and everyday routines
Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupils to engage with their learning
Supporting the wider classroom environment and contributing to pupils' progressThe role will give you valuable first-hand experience of teaching and learning across the primary setting, making it particularly suited to graduates considering teacher training.

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for someone who can demonstrate:

A UK-recognised degree - essential
Previous experience working with children, whether through schools, tutoring, childcare, coaching, mentoring or a similar setting
A clear interest in pursuing a career within teaching or education
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Enthusiasm, initiative and a positive attitude
A genuine interest in helping children learn, develop and succeed
