We are working with a range of schools across East London who are looking to appoint Graduate Teaching Assistants with degrees such as Maths, Science, English, Psychology or Health & Social Care.

This role is ideal for a university graduate who is considering a future career in education, psychology, teaching or pastoral support, and is keen to gain hands-on experience working with children and young people.

The role:

Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis

Providing academic support within your subject specialism

Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND

Assisting with behaviour management and pupil engagement

Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff

The ideal candidate:

Holds a degree in Maths, Science, English, Psychology or Health & Social Care or other relevant degree

Is passionate about education and supporting pupils

Has strong communication and interpersonal skills

Is patient, adaptable and proactive

Is considering a career in education or child-focused roles
