Graduate Tax Associate
Location: Leeds, City Centre
Salary: £27,500
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours, flexitime

Our client, a leading specialist tax advisory firm in Leeds, is expanding its team and is on the lookout for a motivated Graduate Tax Associate. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or junior professionals eager to advance in the tax field.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct research on current tax legislation.
* Prepare and write detailed tax advice reports and supporting computations.
* Maintain and manage client databases, ensuring GDPR compliance.
* Assist with ad hoc tax projects as required.
* Stay updated on tax law changes to demonstrate strong commercial awareness.
* Contribute to marketing efforts by writing blogs, managing social media, and attending networking events.
* Prepare and submit tax returns.
* Monitor and manage client billing processes.
About You:
* Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Previous experience in tax or accounting is a plus, but not essential.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of a 2:1 degree (preferably in law, accounting, economics, or business-related fields).
* GCSE English and Maths at grade B/6 or above.
* Three A-levels at grade B or above.
