Teaching Personnel are recruiting passionate and resilient graduates to support a Year 2 pupil with behavioural and additional learning needs (ALN) on a 1:1 basis in a Newport primary school.

About the Role
You’ll support a pupil who may experience:
Behavioural challenges
Emotional regulation difficulties
Trauma-related responses
Additional learning needs (ALN)
Key responsibilities:
Provide consistent 1:1 classroom support
Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Use trauma-informed and de-escalation strategies
Follow behaviour and support plans
Encourage engagement with learning and routines
Support transitions and maintain a calm environment
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo

Working with children (education, coaching, care, youth work)
