FINTEC recruit is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer for our engineering consultancy client. This is a permanent position based in London. Salary is negotiable by experience £28,000 up to £40,000 plus benefits. An opportunity for a graduate to move into a role to become chartered and gain experience within housing/commercial/industrial build/construction sector.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the senior engineers on civils/structural projects.
Site visits to verify construction complies with construction drawings
Producing detailed structural calculations and sketches
Preparation of construction drawings and specifications
Commercial awareness of costing, budgets and quotations
Report writing
Skills and Experience required for the graduate Structural Engineer:
Proficient use of AutoCAD, Masterseries and TEDDS design software
Understanding of STAAD.Pro, SCIA and Revit
Project management and leadership skills
Willing to work towards or nearing Chartered Status
1 or 2 years experience desirable, not an essential.
