A growing and well-respected construction consultancy is seeking an ambitious Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their Medway, Kent office. The Graduate Quantity Surveyor will play an important role in supporting the delivery of structured quantity surveying services across a range of residential, commercial and development projects.

This Graduate Quantity Surveyor position offers excellent exposure to the full project lifecycle, working closely with experienced surveyors while developing strong commercial and technical skills within a supportive consultancy environment.

The Role

As the Graduate Quantity Surveyor you will support senior team members with the commercial management of projects from early feasibility through to completion.

The role will include:

Assisting with cost plans, budgets and feasibility studies
* Supporting tender preparation and contract documentation
* Assisting with subcontract procurement and tender analysis
* Monitoring valuations, variations and change control
* Supporting cost reporting and financial tracking
* Attending site and client meetings alongside senior surveyors
* Assisting with project documentation and commercial administrationThe Graduate Quantity Surveyor?

The candidate must have:

A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
* Basic understanding of construction processes and contracts
* Ambition to work towards MRICS chartershipIn return……?

£27,000 - £30,000 pa (dependant on experience)
* Full training and mentorship from experienced surveyors
* APC support towards MRICS chartership
* Clear progression to Assistant Quantity Surveyor
