Location: Leamington Spa
Salary: £25,000 per annum

What you'll be doing:
The role will involve:
* Supporting fee earners in the Public Family Law/Care team
* Liaising with clients in person, by telephone and by email
* Drafting correspondence and legal documents relating to family care matters including briefs, court documents, attendance notes and statements of evidence
* Attending to clients at court with counsel
* Diary management and appointment making
* Providing general administrative support
Who we’re looking for:
Suitable candidates will have:
* A law degree (ideally incorporating family/care-related electives)
* Experience of working in a Family Care department of a law firm, handling legal aid matters (preferred but not essential)
* A positive approach to client care
* Excellent communication skills
* The ability to work well as part of a team
* The ability to handle sensitive situations in a professional manner
* A full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle
What’s on offer:
This is a full-time permanent job, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role will be office-based. A wealth of on-the-job training will be provided, with more formal training/qualification routes supported after 12-18 months’ employment.
