This role involves troubleshooting software and hardware issues, maintaining computer networks, and providing support for various operating systems.
Duties
* Responsible for providing frontline technical support and maintenance activities, ensuring service levels are effectively maintained
* Resolve queries immediately where possible, or manage them through to resolution
* Produce required internal and customer-facing reports and documentation
* Prioritise, monitor progress, and escalate support issues with customers and suppliers as required
* Assist the Operations Manager with customer support activities
* Provide out of hours support in line with the agreed schedule
* Develop strong relationships as a trusted advisor with key personnel in customer organisations
* Undertake training to ensure a high level of technical knowledge is maintained
* Communicate effectively with customers via telephone, email and in person
* Ensure ongoing communication and information is maintained with the customer
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications
Educated to Degree level or equivalent
Customer service experience.
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
