An opportunity for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer has become available with an established and well-respected engineering company based in the Bradford area of West Yorkshire.
The successful Graduate Mechanical Engineer will become a member of the existing design team and will be responsible for detailed designs of mechanical systems and components.

Mechanical Engineer - Responsibilities:
* Developing mechanical designs to an agreed specification, meeting deadlines, design criteria, liaising with suppliers.
* Developing designs for projects from initial enquiry, producing costings and producing Bill of Materials.
* Working as part of a multi discipline engineering team to develop complex product solutions.
* Working on varied types of drawings from single line design concepts to intricate detailed manufacturing drawings.
* Produce accurate working drawings for production.
* Produce sales proposal drawings.
* Provide support to other engineers and technicians.
* Keeping drawing schedules up to date for issued and received drawings.
Skills & Qualities Required:
* Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
* Demonstratable mechanical design gained from university projects, placement year, and/or commercial engineering experience.
* knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and Vault software, or similar CAD packages.
* Understanding of fabrication, welding, sheet metal and assembly techniques.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ambition, drive and enthusiasm.
