Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer based in Cowes, Isle of Wight who are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.
Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer Job Overview
* Developing mechanical designs and detailed drawings of standard and bespoke products with the use of Autodesk Inventor
* Supporting the creation of quotations for customers
* Creating manufacturing instructions for products
* Investigating issues with mechanical design through root cause analysis
* Degree qualified within a Mechanical Engineering / Design related field
* Either genuinely willing to relocate, or based in a commutable distance of Ryde, Isle of Wight.
* Experience with 3D Modelling software such as Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks
* Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is desirable
* Good communication skills
* Salary £26,000 - £30,000+
* Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position.
* 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays
