Travel: Some International travel required for Trade shows.
Our client is keen to hire a Graduate Business Marketing Executive and are clear they are deliberately not looking for a ready-made Marketing Manager. We are looking for someone early in their career who wants the chance to grow into one.
Our work, our clients, and our market are specialist and unusual, and the most successful people in our company are those who learn on the job, take responsibility early, and develop capability through doing. We find most success when we do not hire “off the shelf” but instead focus on making and moulding people with potential. We do this successfully with our consultants. We now want to do the same with marketing.
If you are looking for a clearly defined, narrow marketing role, or a career in digital marketing, this position will not suit you.
If, however, you are motivated by responsibility, learning fast, and taking on a role you are not yet fully qualified for - but believe you can grow into - this will be an exceptional opportunity.
The role:
You will be the sole marketing role in the business, reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will be responsible for the full range of marketing activity, with clear direction, high standards, and close support, particularly in the early stages. This is a hands-on role. You will be expected to try things, learn new skills, and take initiative, while following direction carefully and paying close attention to detail. Over time, the role is intended to grow into a Marketing Manager position as your capability and confidence develop.
This is not a digital marketing role. We do not focus on SEO, email campaigns, YouTube, Instagram, or influencer-led content.

* Maintaining and improving website (small, specialist site).
