The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students both in and out of the classroom.
Provide 1:1 and small group support to learners
Support students with additional learning needs
Assist lecturers in delivering engaging lessons
Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Support students with academic tasks and personal development
Encourage confidence, independence, and progression
What We’re Looking For
We are especially keen to hear from graduates looking to start a career in education.
Essential:
A degree (or working towards one)
Passion for supporting young people and adults in education
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, supportive, and proactive approach
Desirable:
Experience working with young people or vulnerable adults
Interest in teaching, education, or support roles
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
No prior school or college experience?
