The Role
This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same. You will work closely with pupils both on a 1:1 basis and within small intervention groups, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
You'll gain significant exposure to classroom practice, behaviour management strategies, SEND support, and learner engagement techniques, making this an ideal stepping stone into teacher training.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering targeted 1:1 support to students requiring additional guidance
Leading and supporting small group intervention sessions
Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, and additional learning needs
Building positive relationships that encourage confidence and engagement
Promoting independence, resilience, and academic progress
Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
