This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on lab experience in a global organisation, with potential for a permanent role.

We are looking for a Graduate Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations within a global energy company.

You will carry out quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet required standards. You will also support routine lab operations, maintain accurate records, and help investigate and resolve quality issues

Key Responsibilities

Perform QC testing on materials and products

Record and manage lab data using SAP systems

Investigate and report quality issues

Support calibration and maintenance of lab equipment

Assist with product trials and new introductions

Follow strict health, safety, and quality procedures

Requirements

Degree or HNC in a science or chemistry-related subject

Some lab experience preferred but not essential

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team

Flexible and willing to work shifts

Working Pattern

Initially day shifts, then rotating shift pattern after training

The role is initially offered on a three month temporary basis to cover annual leave and other absences. However, there is a strong possibility of a permanent position becoming available, making this a great opportunity for longer-term progression
