An exciting opportunity is available for a Geotechnical / Geo-Environmental Engineer to join a well-established ground investigation and consultancy business.
We're looking for someone with a BEng/MEng/BSc/MSc (or equivalent) in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Applied Geology, or Civil Engineering (with strong geotechnical content). Ideally you'll have 1-5 years' relevant experience, however applicants with less than a year's experience who have completed relevant placements are also encouraged to apply.
About the role
You'll join a busy, supportive team, delivering a mix of site-based and office-based work, including:
Supervising ground investigations on site
Producing interpretive reports and undertaking geotechnical analysis
Scoping and pricing new work
Liaising directly with clients and project stakeholdersThe work spans ground investigation, geotechnical design, and contaminated land assessment, with a strong focus on high-quality interpretive reporting. You'll be given early responsibility for your own projects, supported by experienced engineers. Experience in geotechnical assessment and/or numerical modelling is beneficial, but training can be provided.
Development and training
You'll have access to a structured graduate training and mentoring programme, including technical seminars and support towards Chartership, alongside regular CPD sessions and external industry events.
