Graduate Design Estimator

PRG are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing and well-established ground engineering contractor, for a Design & Estimating Engineer to support their expanding North West operations. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced engineer or a motivated graduate looking to build a long-term career within the piling and foundations sector.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to live projects, work alongside experienced professionals, and receive structured support to accelerate your development.

Key Responsibilities:

Review enquiries and assess suitability for tender

*

Prepare accurate estimates and submit tenders on time

*

Help identify practical and cost-effective piling solutions

*

Produce pile and beam layouts and assist with design packages

*

Liaise with internal teams throughout the tender process

*

Support project handovers and assist with design changes

Requirements:

*

Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) or relevant industry experience

*

Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude

*

Eagerness to learn and develop technically

*

Good communication skills and a collaborative approach

*

Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
