Teaching Personnel are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools within B36 and surrounding areas ASAP.

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom in the absence of the teacher, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained.

This is an excellent opportunity for those considering a career in teaching or education, especially recent graduates or individuals with experience working with young people. We are seeking confident, professional and positive individuals who will be a real asset to the schools.

You will have no planning and marking responsibility!

The role involves:

Supervising classes and ensuring pupils remain on task
Delivering pre-set work across a range of subjects
Managing classroom behaviour confidently and effectively in line with school policy
Providing feedback on student behaviour and engagement
You’ll need:

Confidence managing a classroom setting
Strong communication and organisational skills
A calm, adaptable, and professional attitude
To be reliable and punctual when attending bookings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
