What You’ll Do
* Assist in designing electrical and control systems for automated manufacturing processes.
* Develop drawings, specifications, and software concepts under the guidance of senior engineers.
* Support project delivery from concept to commissioning, learning how to apply engineering principles in practice.
* Gain experience with PLC programming and control system software, including Siemens TIA Portal (training provided if needed).
* Work closely with colleagues, suppliers, and clients, helping to solve technical challenges.
* Learn to maintain compliance with health and safety standards and keep accurate project documentation.
What We’re Looking For
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Control Systems Engineering.
* Some experience with PLCs, programming, or automation is a plus but not essential - enthusiasm and willingness to learn matter most.
* Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
* Organised, detail-oriented, and eager to take on new challenges.
* Willingness to travel in the UK and internationally (passport and driving licence required).
