Job Title - Graduate Compliance Assistant

Salary: £28,000 + 10% London weighting plus Veolia Benefits Package

Location: 210 Pentonville Road, London, N1 9JY

Hours: 40 hours

Programme Duration: 2-year programme starting September 2026

What you'll be doing;

Support internal project management and deployment and compliance of existing of future regulatory schemes such as Emissions Trading Schemes, Renewable Incentives (heat & electricity), Carbon Taxation and Energy Intensive Industries Exemption
Ensure all reporting deadlines for existing regulatory schemes are met. Support presentations and briefing of legislative policy to stakeholders (internal and external).
Reporting and analysis of current energy regulations - advise impact and compliance requirements
Maintain procedures required to ensure compliance of Government and market policy. Advise on the impact of regulation changes and assist in response to relevant consultations.

What we're looking for;

Degree-level qualification in Environmental Management/Science/Engineering or other suitable STEM subject (to be achieved by September 2026)
Data handling, analytical and reading comprehension skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable; Knowledge of energy regulation, emissions trading schemes, emissions monitoring or carbon accounting
Willingness to travel to training locations and UK wide sites as required
