Your first year will give you a broad understanding of how a successful B2B business operates. You'll spend time getting to know different areas of the company, building your product and industry knowledge and developing your customer-facing skills. As you progress, the focus will increasingly move towards sales, account management and business development.
You'll have the opportunity to:
Gain experience across operations, warehouse, logistics, supply chain, administration and marketing
Develop detailed knowledge of the electrical wholesale industry and product range
Work directly with trade customers, including electricians, contractors and tradespeople
Build your confidence in sales, communication and relationship management
Gain experience in internal sales and account management
Learn how to identify opportunities, develop accounts and win new business
Receive ongoing training, mentoring and guidance as you develop your skills
Your Progression Path
As you build your knowledge and experience, you'll have the opportunity to progress into a B2B field sales and business development role.
This will involve managing your own customer portfolio, travelling to meet and socialise with clients, developing new business and building long-term commercial relationships.
