Graduate Civil Engineer role overview:
In this position, you will assist with the development of ground models and contribute to the design of geotechnical structures. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will help design elements such as retaining walls, foundations, piles and reinforced soil slopes. The role will also involve supporting ground movement assessments and collaborating with the wider engineering team on project delivery.

Requirements for the Graduate Civil Engineer:

Degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering (geotechnical focus) or a similar discipline (MSc desirable)

Full, clean UK driving licence

Ability to commute to York

Full right to work in the UK

Experience with soil mechanics or geotechnical software such as AutoCAD, Excel, Alp, PDisp, Rocscience Slide, ADC Adsec, Oasys Pile or WALLAP would be beneficial but is not essential.
