We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a General Sales Manager position in Hersham. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced General Sales Manager professional seeking to lead a dynamic sales team within a reputable car dealership group. The successful General Sales Manager will be responsible for managing both new and used car sales, driving performance, and ensuring high standards of customer service.

Lead, motivate, and develop the new and used car sales teams to surpass performance targets
Drive sales strategies to maximise profit and dealership growth as the General Sales Manager

Oversee sales processes, including vehicle stock management and customer rapport
Monitor and report on sales performance metrics regularly
Develop and implement effective training programmes for team development
Collaborate with Aftersales and other departments to optimise dealership performance
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of market trends and competitor activity
Uphold brand standards and ensure compliance with company policies and regulationsRequirements:
Proven experience as a Sales Manager or General Sales Manager within a dealership environment
Demonstrable leadership and team development skills
Strong communication, planning, and organisational abilities
Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
Ability to analyse sales data and implement strategic initiatives
