Are you a confident GCSE Maths Teacher or Tutor looking for flexible 1:1 work? Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a Maths Tutor to support a learner in Chester.
The successful candidate will be able to explain mathematical concepts clearly, identify learning gaps and deliver engaging sessions that are tailored to the learner's individual goals.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver focused 1:1 GCSE Maths tuition
Identify areas of strength and development
Plan lessons at an appropriate level
Adapt explanations, activities and resources
Encourage confidence and participation
Support the learner towards their academic targets
Monitor and report on progress
Requirements
Strong knowledge of GCSE Maths
Previous teaching or tutoring experience
Experience delivering 1:1 tuition desirable
Excellent communication skills
Flexible and learner-centred approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional child-related references
