Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting a confident GCSE Maths Tutor to provide targeted 1:1 support to a learner in Wirral.
The successful tutor will help the learner strengthen their mathematical understanding, address gaps in knowledge and develop greater confidence ahead of their GCSE studies.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver tailored GCSE Maths tuition
Identify areas of strength and development
Support exam preparation and revision
Explain mathematical concepts clearly
Differentiate activities to suit learner ability
Encourage independent problem-solving
Monitor progress throughout the placement
Requirements
Strong GCSE Maths subject knowledge
Previous teaching or tutoring experience
Experience supporting secondary-aged learners
Excellent communication skills
Ability to adapt lessons to individual needs
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
