Prospero Teaching are recruiting for an enthusiastic GCSE Maths Tutor to support a learner through flexible 1:1 tuition in Warrington.
We are seeking someone who can make Maths accessible and engaging while helping the learner strengthen their understanding, overcome gaps in knowledge and work towards their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver individualised GCSE Maths tuition
Assess the learner's current strengths and areas for development
Plan structured and engaging sessions
Explain mathematical concepts clearly
Adapt lessons to suit the learner
Track progress and provide feedback
Requirements
Strong GCSE Maths subject knowledge
Previous teaching or tutoring experience
Experience supporting learners on a 1:1 basis desirable
Excellent communication skills
Confident and adaptable teaching style
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional child-related references
