GCSE Maths Tutor - Liverpool
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated GCSE Maths Tutor to provide personalised, 1:1 tuition to secondary-aged pupils in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a tutor who can build confidence, address gaps in learning and help pupils work towards their GCSE Maths goals.
The Role:
Deliver tailored, 1:1 GCSE Maths tuition.
Support pupils with numeracy, algebra, geometry and exam preparation.
Identify learning gaps and adapt lessons to individual needs.
Encourage engagement, confidence and academic progress.
Hours: approximately 5-15 hours per week, depending on the placement.
Start: ASAP.
Duration: ongoing, subject to placement requirements.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE Maths.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
A patient, encouraging and adaptable approach.
Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs is desirable.
Essential Requirements:
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS on the Children's Barred List, or willingness to obtain the required clearance.
Two professional references, including relevant child-related experience where applicable.
