Prospero Teaching are recruiting a confident GCSE Maths Tutor to deliver targeted 1:1 tuition to a learner in Runcorn.
The successful candidate will help identify gaps in knowledge, develop mathematical understanding and support the learner in becoming more confident with their studies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored GCSE Maths tuition
Identify areas requiring additional support
Prepare engaging revision and learning activities
Explain mathematical concepts clearly
Support exam preparation where appropriate
Develop problem-solving and independent learning skills
Track learner progress
Requirements
Strong GCSE Maths subject knowledge
Previous teaching or tutoring experience
Experience working with secondary-aged learners
Ability to differentiate and adapt tuition
Excellent communication skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
