Gatehouse Security Guard – Security Officer – 4 on 4 off – Irlam – £31,320 Rising to £32,200
Security Guard / Security Officer required for a permanent 4 on 4 off shift role based in Irlam.
We are recruiting for a professional and reliable Security Guard to maintain site security, monitor CCTV systems and act as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors and deliveries at a busy manufacturing site employing approximately 150 staff.
This is a full-time permanent position working 12-hour shifts (days and nights) on a 4 on 4 off rotation.
Security Guard Key Responsibilities:

Maintain site security at all times

Follow company security procedures and protocols
*
Lock and secure pedestrian gates, service yard gates and barriers nightly
*
Provide physical presence at entrance barriers during staff arrival
*
Conduct regular patrols of factory, offices and outbuildings (minimum 6 patrols per shift)
*
Carry out hourly CCTV monitoring and reporting using secure login
*
Operate intruder alarm systems, fire alarm systems and access control systems
*
Record and maintain accurate security logs including:

Provide first aid assistance when required
*
Cover reception duties outside normal office hours
*
Represent the company in a professional and approachable manner
Security Officer Requirements:
*
Previous experience as a Security Guard / Security Officer / Gatehouse Security Officer
*
Experience with CCTV systems and alarm systems
*
Strong written and verbal communication skills
*
Confident using computer systems for reporting
*
Professional and reliable
*
Ability to work both day and night shifts
*
First Aid knowledge desirable
Shift Pattern:
*
6:00am – 6:00pm (Days)
*
6:00pm – 6:00am (Nights)
*
4 on 4 off rotation
Includes weekday and weekend shifts.
Salary & Benefits:

£31,320 per annum

Rising to £32,200 after 12 months
