Location: Runcorn
Hours: 5-15 hours per week

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Functional Skills Maths Tutor to deliver individualised tuition in Runcorn.
The successful tutor will support a learner to develop their mathematical understanding, improve confidence and work towards their educational goals through structured and engaging sessions.
What You'll Do
Deliver 1:1 Functional Skills Maths tuition
Plan sessions around the learner's current level
Identify areas of weakness and develop targeted activities
Support numeracy and problem-solving skills
Adapt lessons according to progress
Encourage learners to become more confident and independent
Provide feedback on development
What We're Looking For
Experience teaching or tutoring Maths
Functional Skills experience is highly desirable
Strong subject knowledge
Experience working with children or young people
Patient and adaptable teaching style
QTS, PGCE or relevant tutoring experience desirable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to process a new application
Right to Work in the UK
