· Previous experience operating forklift trucks in a warehouse, manufacturing, construction, fabrication, or production environment.
· Practical knowledge of load handling, weight distribution, load stability, and safe stacking procedures.
· Understanding of workplace traffic management, equipment inspection procedures, and material handling risk assessments.
· Ability to handle large, heavy, and irregularly shaped materials safely, using appropriate lifting equipment and procedures.
· Strong awareness of workplace Health and Safety requirements and a commitment to maintaining safe working practices.
· Good communication, teamwork, and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across production and logistics teams.
