We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Freezer/Ambient Operative to join our warehouse operations team. This role involves working across both chilled/freezer environments and ambient areas, ensuring stock is organised, picked, and maintained to company standards while supporting the safe setup and management of lighting systems within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
Freezer & Ambient Warehouse Duties
Pick, pack, and move stock within freezer and ambient areas.
Maintain correct stock rotation following FIFO principles.
Assist with goods-in and goods-out processes.
Ensure all areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards.
Use handheld scanners or warehouse systems to update stock information.
Operate pallet trucks or other warehouse equipment (training provided if required).
Requirements
Previous warehouse experience (freezer/chilled environment preferred but not essential).
Comfortable working in cold temperatures with PPE supplied.
Basic understanding of warehouse health & safety.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting where required.
Ability to work weekends as it would be a 5 over 7 shift pattern
