Our client is currently recruiting a Supervisor ready to take the next step, or a manager looking to run his own department.
Opening a new production department, our client is looking for someone experienced within Poultry production.
You will be responsible for a team of approx. 8 to 10 people with overall track and trace of the full meat production line insuring

Packaging specifications and requirements
Shelf-life verification
Halal and Non-Halal segregation
Batch code allocation
Awareness and application of sector-specific customer specifications
Full labelling and traceability

Julienne code and stock rotation details
Hygiene and food safety and quality control
Carry out daily pre-operational hygiene checks within the production area.
Monitor and enforce staff hygiene practices in accordance with department standards.
Ensure GMP and housekeeping standards are strictly maintained at all times.
Ensure staff adhere to product contamination prevention procedures.
Ensure all orders are metal detected and checked for foreign bodies before transfer to s Storage or despatch.
Ensure all QC checks and documentation are fully completed and submitted daily to the QA Assistant.
Work closely with the QA Manager to ensure HACCP and BRCGS diligence documentation is completed accurately.
This position is offering approx £38,000 but open to negotiation depending on skills and experience,
