Conference and banqueting venue are looking to recruit a Food & Beverage Supervisor to take on a supervisory role across all bars and conference rooms. This will involve the Food & Beverage Supervisor overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of all events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet the objectives set by clients or management.
The Food & Beverage Supervisor Must have:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Lead the event / banqueting setup and takedown processes
* Handle customer service inquiries and resolve any issues
* Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback from participants
* Opening and closing procedures, including security and cleaning.
* Liaise, as applicable, with outside contractors as well as with internal suppliers
* Leading and coordinating event staff in an efficient way.
* Managing cash handling and cash reconciliation
* Contribute to training and development of the team
* Assist the line Manager in quality control of all supplies, including food, drinks/beverages, hygiene and health and safety
* Key holder for the building and lock/unlock the building as required
Food & Beverage Supervisor skills:
* Food & Beverage Supervisor will have excellent communication and customer service skills
* Is organised, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced venue environment
* Brings a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
* Has previous events / banqueting experience
* Has flexibility to work non-standard hours during events
* Proactive, confident with excellent communication skills
* Natural ability to build a rapport with club members as well as with team members.
* A record of working to a high standard
* Extremely well organised and be able to work well with pressure.
