Goods Out Forklift Truck Driver (2 Shift – Temp to Perm)

Jackson Hogg are hiring on behalf of our client in Ferryhill (Primary Ops) for a Goods Out Forklift Truck Driver to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
This role is focused on the safe and efficient movement and dispatch of finished goods within a busy manufacturing environment.
Working Pattern
* Day 1 induction on dayshift
* Moving onto a 2-shift rotation
* Full-time hours
Pay
* £14.65 per hour (2 shift rate – advertised rate)
* Initial induction day paid at £12.21 per hour (dayshift rate)
The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring finished goods are picked, prepared and dispatched accurately and safely.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently
* Picking, staging and loading customer orders
* Ensuring goods are correctly identified, labelled and prepared for dispatch
* Following safe loading and dispatch procedures
* Maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
* Working independently and managing priorities effectively
* Upholding health & safety and housekeeping standards at all times
Candidate Requirements
* Valid FLT licence / certification (essential)
* Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
* Experience within goods out, logistics or dispatch (desirable)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable and able to work a 2-shift rotation
