What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
A valid Counterbalance & Reach Truck licence
Previous experience within a warehouse environment
A full UK driving licence
Good IT skills, including MS Office
A solid understanding of stock control processes
About the Role
This is a varied, hands-on role within a clean, food-grade warehouse environment. You’ll be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, from goods-in through to dispatch, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high standards at all times.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
Loading and unloading vehicles (using FLT or manually)
Booking in deliveries, checking, weighing, sampling, and labelling stock
Accurately storing goods within designated locations
Picking, weighing, and packing orders to tight deadlines
Palletising and preparing goods for dispatch
Carrying out regular stock checks and stocktaking
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse
Following strict food safety and hygiene procedures
Working closely with internal teams to manage stock movement
About You
You’re someone who takes pride in doing a job well and enjoys being part of a small team. You’ll be reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a physically demanding environment.
You will also:
Be comfortable with manual handling (regular lifting up to 25kg+)
Have strong attention to detail and accuracy
Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Have a positive, team-focused attitude
Bring a proactive mindset and willingness to learn
