We're currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Biased Security Project Engineer to join a well-established and highly respected fire and security company in London. Known for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions across commercial sites, the business prides itself on supporting its team, offering a professional, organised, and collaborative working environment, and giving senior engineers the opportunity to progress into leadership roles.

This is a hands-on, senior engineering role with a mix of on-site installation, commissioning, and off-the-tools project oversight. The role is predominantly fire-focused, with additional responsibility for access control and CCTV systems, giving you variety while keeping your technical expertise sharp. You'll be expected to manage projects from start to finish, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Installing, commissioning, and maintaining fire alarm systems, with some access control and CCTV involvement

Managing multiple projects across commercial sites, balancing hands-on work with project coordination

Liaising with clients, engineers, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery

Ensuring all works comply with relevant industry standards and regulations

Supporting junior engineers where required, sharing knowledge and expertise

What They're Looking For:

Minimum 10 years' experience in fire and security engineering, ideally with a fire bias

Strong commissioning skills and technical knowledge of fire, access control, and CCTV systems

Ability to manage projects while staying technically involved

Professional, reliable, and self-motivated with excellent organisational skills
