Engineering Operations Manager - Fire & Security Systems
Location: Hybrid (Central London)
Salary: 75,000 Basic (DOE)

A well established and growing fire and security systems business is looking to appoint an experienced Engineering Operations Manager to lead its engineering function across projects, service, and maintenance delivery.

This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing engineering teams, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring high standards across quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.

The Role
You will take ownership of engineering operations across multiple projects, ranging from small works through to large scale installations. Working closely with senior leadership, you will drive performance across project delivery, service operations, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams across projects and service
* Oversee installation, maintenance, and service delivery to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including RAMS and CDM
* Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining strong working relationships
* Support commercial performance through cost control and contract oversight
* Ensure all technical documentation, commissioning, and handovers are completed to a high standard
* Maintain compliance with industry standards and accreditations

Requirements
* Proven experience in a leadership role within the fire and security industry
* Strong background in managing projects, service, and engineering teams
* Technical knowledge of integrated and IP based security systems
* Experience working with industry contracts (NEC, JCT desirable)
* Good understanding of health and safety and compliance standards
* Relevant certifications such as IOSH, SSSTS or SMSTS
* Full UK driving licence
