Job description
They are looking for a fire and security engineer to join our rapidly growing company. My client are an electrical, fire, security and assistive technology company who service a wide range of works for an ever growing client base.
The Role
The main role will involve the reactive maintenance and repair of security and fire alarm system across the Essex and East Anglia region reacting to our clients demands for response. The ability to test systems, diagnose faults and either repair our provide detailed reports on the works required to resolve the issue are vital roles that the successful candidate will need to the ability to carry out. The engineer will also be utilised where appropriate for the installation and repair of fire and security systems.
What You Will Need To Do The Role
My client are looking for someone who has previously worked in a similar role and will be able to hit the ground running upon starting. A proven record of being able to service and repair security and fire alarm systems. Key experience and qualifications of interest include:
* Extensive knowledge and qualifications in Fire Systems.
* Extensive knowledge of Access control and Door Entry Systems. (PAC, Paxton, Entrotec, Videx)
* Extensive knowledge of CCTV systems
* Full UK Clean Driving Licence
A key part of this role is to be pro-active and this will be achieved by commitment to customer satisfaction and striving for continuous improvement in your working approach, including the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team, using your own initiative and working in a logical and methodical manner to tight timescales.. It is important that you have a flexible and common-sense approach to work, as the role will include being a member of our ‘Out of Hours’ call out roster, as and when required.
