My client is a fast-growing, family-run business delivering high-quality fire, security solutions across the UK. They work with a wide range of clients, providing the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of systems including fire alarms, fire extinguishers, CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, gates and barriers. Alongside this, we also deliver facilities management and compliance services, offering a well-rounded and reliable solution to for our clients’ needs.
The Role
As a Fire & Security Engineer, you’ll play a key role in installing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing fire and security systems. You’ll be trusted to work alone while also being part of a team on larger installations and projects.
You’ll work across a mix of sites, gaining exposure to different systems and projects, keeping your work interesting and your skills sharp.
The role will mainly be working across the North of England, with travel and overnight stays required.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Installing, commissioning, servicing, maintaining and repairing:
o fire alarms
o CCTV
o intruder alarms
o access control
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
* Working on a variety of projects, from small works to large installations
* Building strong relationships with clients through professional service
* Working independently day-to-day, with team collaboration on larger jobs
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with fire alarm and security systems
* Knowledge of relevant standards
* Previous experience in Fire Extinguishers would be advantageous but not essential
* Full UK driving licence
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with the confidence to take initiative and get things done
* Someone who takes pride in their work

* Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required
